In northern Gaza strip, there is a village totally surrounded by israeli settlements.
Palestinians living in this village are authorized to get in and out of the village only at fixed hours (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening).
If schools are closed for any reason (teacher's sickness, or blocked at a check-point...) the children can't go back home untill the evening "opening" hours.
After 18:00 PM nobody is allowed to walk at the border of the village, or he might get shot by settlers.
Each time they enter or exit, the inhabitants are thoroughly searched, their bags are sniffed by dogs, even if they contain food. Insults and physical violences from Israeli soldiers are frequent.
Traditionnaly the village lived on fishing, but now Israel forbid them access to the sea anymore.
