A journalist from BBC radio joined us for this check-point demonstration, and her presence probably helped a lot in the negociation process with the israeli soldiers. They accepted to let us cross the check-point, but we refused as long as all Palestinians were blocked. After the classical aggressive threats, military intimidations, negotiations, etc. they finally opened the check-point to everybody. Palestinians emotion was enormous. Our action was very small in relation to what they have to endure everyday, but it was symbolic: to show them that there is a civile support.
